Her story is in “about us”. Bristol’s back legs haven’t worked since birth. She doesn’t know that she is handicapped. She thinks she can do anything. She climbs the stairs, climbs straight up the side of our bed witch is almost three feet high. She climbs to the top of the couch to sleep. When she wants to go upstairs and doesn’t feel like climbing them she will meow so one of us will take her up. Sometimes when she comes down the stairs she goes very fast. It’s fun to watch her go down. She is very playful. Sometimes when you walk by her she will get your leg with her paw when your least expecting it. Sometimes she will chase Pat around and try to bite the top of her foot LOL. Other times she will sneak up behind you and run and hide in the drapes when you turn around. She thinks we can’t see her but only her head is behind the drapes and the rest of her is sticking out, very funny! She is a blast to have around. Pat and I love her very much. Never thought I would love a cat like I do her! More on Bristol later, Bill

We got Tigger in June of 2006. He came to us from Northwest Animal Companians (NAC). The people who had him couldn’t keep him any longer.

Tigger was just six weeks old when he was in a storm and had a door slammed on him that broke his back. The people that had him had just lost their first

baby to a miscarriage so Tigger was their baby. They took very good care of him. Expressing his bladder and changing his diaper. They also gave him a bath everyday. They found out he was allergic to cat food with corn in it so had to buy him special food. They ended up having two healthy babies but had to get rid of Tigger. They really didn’t want to. The day we were to pick him up she said she couldn’t part with him and not to come get him. Well she called the next day and said he had an accident on the carpet and the landlord said he had to go so we got this special smart boy! He was about five years old when we got him, so he is around eight now. Every day I express his bladder and colon and change his diaper. His is pretty good about letting me do this but I do have a few scars from his claws LOL. He is the smartest cat I have ever seen. He figures out how to do things other cats wouldn’t even think of. Example-we had to board him to go to California for my dads funeral and when we went to pick him up his cage had tape around the safety latch! Yep, he figured out how to do the safety latch and the other latch to get out. Oh ya, he loves to go outside and sneaks out the dog door. One day we had the dog door closed and he got on his back and was able to get the door open and out he went leaving his diaper in the door frame on the way out, my wife Pat was able to video that. I am going to try to post that so you can see it. It is on a tape so I need to figure out how to get it on the pc. I am pretty new at all this computer stuff but I am learning! More on Tigger later.

We got her February of 2005 from NAC. The lady who had her couldn’t take care of her any longer.

Bridgette was born in July of 2004 in a shed in someones backyard. When the litter was about six weeks old a dog got in the shed and scared the mom and kittens out of there. The lady went in the shed to check and found nothing. When she was leaving she heard the faint cry from a kitten. She went back in and dug around and found little Bridge. The dog had got her and broke her back! The lady took good care of her and was taking her to get acupuncture treatments. She would even take her to work with her. Soon she wasn’t able to take her anymore so she had to leave her at home in the bath tub so she didn’t poop and pee all over. So she thought she could have a better life somewhere else so she gave her up to us. I have to express her bladder twice a day and her colon once, she cannot wear a diaper because of the way her legs are. We tried everything we could think of to keep a diaper on but no such luck. She has an occasional mishap every once in a while. I think she still remembers the dog attack because if one of our dogs gets to close to her she smacks em! LOL. More on Bridgette later.
